Joseph Hachem’s roots trace back to Lebanon where he was born, his family moved to Australia when he was a young boy, he now of course is all grown up with a wife and four children, and to this day he still lives in Australia.
One of his proudest moments came in 2005 when he won the WSOP No Limit Hold’em Championship Event beating 5619 fellow players to take the title and his this meant he took the top prize of Seven and a half million Dollars.
He then won another two million dollars in 2006 when he took first place in the World Poker Tour 5 Diamond Classic Event.
In Dec 2006 he won The Tour Five Diamond Classic.
Joseph Hachem was bitten by the poker bug years before his big wins and has been player for well over a decade, and all that practice certainly paid off.
He has also finished in many other respectable places in several tournaments and these include being placed 10th in the 2005 WSOP $1,000 buy-in no-limit Hold’em event and he finished 2nd and 4th in two World Series of Poker events.
