Signup Bonus
The signup bonus that Pacific Poker has been offering for a long time is worth 100% up to $400. It’s not the most valuable bonus to ever be offered, but at the same time it also isn’t bad as far as signup bonuses are concerned. They also have some interesting release requirements that allow you to get at the first part of your bonus quicker while at the same time giving up the rest of it until later.
Bonuses Info. Summary
- Sign-Up Bonus In: $400
- Deposit Bonus In: 100%
- Bonus Expiration Time: Varies
- Bonus Code: Not Required
- Clearing Requirement: Varies
When you make a deposit, the bonus is given at the rate mentioned above. However, you’ll get 25% of that bonus amount immediately and you’ll be able to use that amount however you see fit. The remaining 75% of the bonus is bonus money that you can clear in the way that traditional signup bonuses are cleared. Bonus money is cleared in its entirety by collecting 10 bonus points per dollar in bonus that needs to be cleared.
In other words, if you deposit $400 into your account, $100 is yours immediately and the remaining $300 will be released into your account when you collect 3000 bonus points. You won’t find a much nicer deal than that in many other places considering how large the immediate release part of the bonus can become.
Loyalty Program
Pacific Poker has a loyalty program that you can take full advantage of when you are playing at the cash games and tournaments that the site offers. The loyalty program works around status points as opposed to the bonus points that were discussed in the previous section.
When you are playing in cash games, every $1 in rake that is taken from you directly is worth 2 status points and 2 bonus points. Similarly, every $1 in tournament fees that you pay is worth 2 status points and 2 bonus points. The catch however is that bonus points are only collected if you have a bonus balance pending and cannot be switched for status points. This means that if you have no bonus balance pending, you get 2 status points per dollar as opposed to 2 status points and 2 bonus points per dollar.
These status points can then be traded in for many different reward possibilities. Cash redemption, special tournaments and more are all possible if you are able to string together enough status points from the loyalty program.
Depositing Freerolls
Pacific Poker has freeroll tournaments available for people that have recently made their first deposits. There are two types of freeroll tournaments that they specifically offer. One set of freerolls leads to an end tournament with a prize pool of $3500 attached. A second set of freerolls follows a significantly longer path that leads to a final prize pool of approximately $50,000. All in all, both of those freeroll possibilities have to do with Pacific Poker giving just that little bit extra to the new players that have decided to play their online poker at the Pacific Poker website.
