Playing in a Sit and Go Tournament means that you are playing against just the opponents sat around the table and not those on many tables.
Over at PITBULL POKER for example you can play Sit and Go Tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5 upto and including $500.
Usually there are 10 players in a Sit and Go Tournament but occasionally some sites will offer 6 players or 2 players sit and go’s.
As soon as the table fills up the game will begin and they run throughout the day and night.
You play until you have either run out of chips or taken them all. You ranking will be displayed and this is based on what position you left the table.
PITBULL POKER have the following payout/prize structure:
- 10 Player Game – 1st wins 50%, 2nd wins 30% and 3rd wins 20%
- 6 Player Game – 1st wins 65% and 2nd wins 35%.
- Heads Up Game – 1st wins 100%.
The games played in sit and go’s are all your favorites including No Limit Texas Holdem, Omaha etc.
